Good moments from Iceland
Home street
This is my street at Hvanneyri. Most of the students in the Icelandic Agricultural University live in this street. There is no lack of beautiful scenery from your window in this wonderful place.

Ice grilling
When the winter in Hvanneyri gets too dark, you just imagine that you are at a Hawaian barbicue. Shwing!!! with a little effort and a Norweigian girlscout know how, anything is possible. (You might think that our faces are red from the warm breeze, but in fact there is -12°C when this picture is taken).

Mikkel on horseback
There you have Mikkel and his wonderful horse "Teddy-bear". The sight of horses and riders in your garden is not an unusual sight in Hvanneyri. (It is only when they start to sing, you might be slightly annoyed).

3 witches
No you are not looking at the three whiches from Eastwick! Only our graduation from Hvanneyri. There is a tradition to wear your national costume at the graduation. I am wearing the Icelandic costume called "upphlutur", and Gudrun in the middle, is wearing her German national costume. Last but not least we have Linda to the right in her Norwegian national costume. (This is the only time I´ve seen her in a dress).

Baldur in tights
When you visit a good farm in Iceland, there is always a chance you are invited for a sightseeing from horseback. (As you can see from this picture the Icelandic horse has a good appetite!). This is our good friend Baldur who proudly shows us the country side around his home Ytri-Tjarnir in Eyjafjörður, north Iceland.

Icy and clear day
And finally the happy ending of all spagetti westerns. A picture of my personal cowboy riding out in the sunset.
